MANSE SET TO JOIN GULLS' 300 CLUB

Thursday's League Two Play-Off Semi Final second leg will doubly significant for Torquay United skipper Lee Mansell become part of the select band of players to have made 300 appearances for the club.

The Gloucester-born midfielder, who has been named as the Gulls Player of the Year for the 2011-12 campaign and selected in the PFA League Two Team of the season, will also striving to become one of the handful of Torquay players who have appeared in two promotion winning sides.

During his six years at Plainmoor, he arrived from Oxford United in 2006, Mansell, who also stands 14th in the club's all-time appearance list, has seen a series of highs and lows in this time.
