Whilst the Republic's senior are preparing themselves for their summer exploits in Poland and Ukraine, the Under-21's face Denmark and Italy on May 28th and June 4th respectively.
Their first encounter with the Danes is a friendly match and their meeting with the Italians is a UEFA 2013 European Under-21 Championship Qualifier.
It is the first time that Eunan has been selected for the Republic squad since his international 'transfer' from Northern Ireland and he is set to make his debut.
He is also one of only to uncapped players in the squad, the other is Sunderland's John Egan, in a squad that also includes Plymouth Argyle midfielder Conor Hourihane, who is fresh from helping the Pilgrims secure their status as a Football League club, former Argyle loanee Conor Clifford and Eunan's ex-Everton teammate Shane Duffy.
