GULLS BOARD SET TO ANNOUNCE SHORTLIST

The Torquay United board of directors have indicated that they will be looking to interview up to five candidates as they look to find a replacement for Paul Buckle.

Chairman Simon Baker has also revealed that they plan to unveil Buckle's successor by next Monday.

New names to be linked with the vacancy include former Mansfield Town manager David Holdsworth, brother of Ex-Wimbledon striker and current Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth, and Falkirk coach Lee Bullen.

With goalkeeper Scott Bevan and former loanee Craig Stanley linking up again with Buckle at Bristol Rovers, the new man will need to find replacements for them and further strengthen other areas of the Gulls' squad.
