At the end of a difficult week, Torquay United returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over National League South strugglers Walton and Hersham.
Matt Jay set the Gulls on their way with a delicate chip in the first half before second half strikes from substitute Cody Cooke and Jacob Beaumont-Clark sealed an impressive win on the road for Jimmy Ball's side.
It was United's third win on the travels in the league this season, and the first of a run of four away fixtures before they round off the month of November with home games against Chesham United (November 24) and Chelmsford City (November 28).
