Torquay United continued their fine start to the 2010-11 campaign with a 2-0 away victory over Lincoln City at Sincil Bank. A goal in each half from Elliot Benyon made the difference for the Gulls who top the League Two table on goals difference ahead of Shrewsbury Town, the only other team with a 100% record in the division.
In the Westcountry derby at the Memorial Stadium, Bristol Rovers came out on top with a 2-1 victory over Yeovil Town. Ex Torquay striker Jo Kuffour struck for the Pirates on the stroke of half-time before Adam Virgo equalised for the Glovers on 89 minutes. It looks as though Terry Skiverton's side had done enough to secure a point before Rovers defender Byron Anthony popped to snatch a late winner in injury time.
Following the untimely death of Adam Stansfield this week, Exeter City's trip to Dagenham and Redbridge in League One was postponed.
