ZEBROSKI BECOMES A PIRATE

After handing in a transfer request last week, Torquay United forward Chris Zebroski has become the latest addition to former Gulls' boss Paul Buckle's squad at Bristol Rovers.

The Pirates paid an undisclosed fee for Zebroski, who was Torquay's leading scorer last season with 15 goals, which will give new Gulls' boss Martin Ling greater bargaining power in the transfer market.

Zebroski will find himself amongst familiar faces at the Memorial Stadium as he will be working alongside former Torquay assistant manager Shaun North, who followed Buckle to Rovers, as well as former Torquay team-mates Scott Bevan, Craig Stanley and Mustapha Carayol who have all been recruited by Buckle since his arrival.

They will, of course, be lining up against the Gulls on April 13th in their opening home game of the season.
