TORQUAY SIGN PRINGLE

Torquay United boss Paul Buckle has moved to strengthen his squad further by signing Ben Pringle on loan from Derby County.

Pringle, who was brought to Pride Park by Rams' boss Nigel Clough in 2009 from Ilkeston Town, started his career with West Bromwich Albion before dropping into non-league football where he appeared for Newcastle Blue Star and Morpeth Town.

A left midfielder, he has signed for an initial one-month loan and his arrival helps fill the void left by Ryan Gilligan's return to his parent club,  Northampton Town.

To date, Ben has made 20 league appearances for Derby and he was named as the club's Young Player of the Year in the 2009-10 season.
